Raleigh chapter roundtable: “Should the Constitution Define Marriage?” –

By: AF Editors

Join America’s Future Foundation for our kickoff event in Raleigh, Tuesday March 13, in the Loft at Nattty Greene’s. We’ll have a great discussion on gay marriage, straight marriage, government’s role in marriage and the proposed marriage amendment to the North Carolina Constitution on the ballot in May.

Panelists Tami Fitzgerald, executive director of the NC Values Coalition; Christopher Wolfe, co-director of the Thomas International Center; Fergus Hodgson, director of fiscal policy studies at the John Locke Foundation; and Mike Munger, professor of political science and economics at Duke University, will offer conservative and libertarian perspectives on what marriage means and what the North Carolina constitution should say about it. AF-Raleigh’s own Jenna Robinson, outreach coordinator at the Pope Center for Higher Education Policy, will moderate. The social hour will start at 7pm and the panel discussion at 8pm.
