TONIGHT: AFF-Chicago’s Christmas party
It’s hard to believe it’s already the month for Christmas parties. But it is, and AFF is helping you kick December off right.
We hope to see you TONIGHT at AFF’s Christmas party. It’ll be a gathering of the Windy City’s finest young professional liberty-lovers in celebration of our best year yet. (Be sure to read our just-published Chicago chapter 2011 annual report to get an overview of the 17 events we held this year.)
Where: English Bar & Restaurant (444 N La Salle Dr., Chicago)
When: Friday, December 2nd, 6-8 PM
RSVP: firstname.lastname@example.org or on our Facebook event page
Price: FREE admission, FREE heavy appetizers, and a cash bar
Before our party today, our friends at the Heartland Institute are hosting a luncheon with Tom Palmer, one of today’s preeminent liberty communicators. He’ll be discussing a new book he edited entitled ‘The Morality of Capitalism: What Your Professors Won’t Tell You.’ This is a great book that teaches you how to address some of your peers’ fundamental concerns about the free market, profit, and limited government. And don’t forget: December 7th is a “civil liberties happy hour” with the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) and the Heartland Institute. It’s at the the Kerryman (661 N Clark) from 6-9 PM. Click here for details and RSVP information.
