On May 28th, join Nashville America’s Future Foundation as we welcome a special guest: former State Senator and Tennessee Gubernatorial candidate Jim Bryson.
Sen. Bryson will be discussing a hotly debated topic in conservative and libertarian circles: does government by its very nature encroach on liberty? Are the incentives of politicians, bureaucrats, voters, and interest groups such that they will tend to skew the system towards their own self-interested gains?
We will be meeting in the Belle Meade room in the Hampton Inn & Suites in Green Hills.
Opening reception starts at 6:30 p.m. and Sen. Bryson will begin at 7:30 p.m.
**Open bar with beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres will be provided**
PLEASE RSVP: firstname.lastname@example.org
WHEN: Thurs, May 28th 6:30-9:30 pm

On Monday, January 19th, Nashville America’s Future Foundation will host its first roundtable discussion of 2009, “Where Do We Go From Here? An Election Review.”
With a new administration taking office the next day, we will be discussing the impact of the 2008 election on the conservative movement. What does Obama’s victory indicate about conservatism today? How will Republican gains in the state legislature impact Tennessee politics?
Joining us for this conversation are Representative Susan Lynn, District 57 of Tennessee; Justin Owen, Director of Legal Policy, Tennessee Center for Policy Research; and Ben Cunningham, Activist, Tennessee Tax Revolt.
This event will be held in the Acorn room of the Vanderbilt Marriott (Next to P.F. Chang’s, 255 West End Ave., Nashville, TN 37203). A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. with drinks and hors d’ oeuvres and the roundtable will begin at 7:30
