Chicago chapter roundtable: “Is America still a meritocracy?”
Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012Is success based on what you know or who you know?
Join AFF on Wednesday, February 29th, 6-8 PM at Ontourage (157 W. Ontario, Chicago) for a roundtable discussion on meritocracy. Four panelists will discuss whether most Americans still earn their wealth or if public policies are concentrating it among those with the best government connections.
We have an all-star panel for this discussion, including the Illinois Policy Institute’s John O’Hara and Chicago Occupier David Orlikoff. We’ll announce our other panelists shortly.
Regardless of whether we resolve whether Americans still get their just desserts, you sure will! At this event, we’ll be serving desserts to satiate your sweet tooth! Come prepared for a sugary liberty rush!
RSVP to chicago@americasfuture.org or on Facebook.
AFF members attend, eat, and drink for no cost. All others pay $10 for admission and a drink ticket. If you’re not already a member of the coolest liberty group in town, click here to join AFF. The cost is $50 and includes admission to all events for a year, a lapel pin, and a free market book.
