All I Want for Christmas is Freedom

December 15, 2017 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Pub on Park

655 Park Ave., Cranston, Rhode Island 02910

Picture this scenario: you’re Ubering back and forth between stores while finishing up your holiday shopping. You get out when you reach your destination and wish the driver a “Merry Christmas” or a “Happy Hanukkah” as you leave.

Seems pretty normal, right? But, take a moment to appreciate just how much freedom is represented in that situation.

What if ridesharing didn’t exist, and you had no alternate form of transportation? What if you could be jailed for wishing someone a happy ‘insert politically incorrect holiday here’? Well, as progressivism continues to run rampant in Rhode Island, as regulations mount on services such as Uber and Lyft, and “offensive” speech continues to be censored, that could be a reality sooner than you’d think.

Join America’s Future and the Rhode Island Center for Freedom and Prosperity for our year-end event featuring Mike Stenhouse. Mike is the founder and CEO of the Center and will talk about the future of issues such as free speech and the sharing economy in Rhode Island, as well as fighting for your liberty against the progressive agenda.

We’ll have ample appetizers, the first drink is free for the first 50 people at the door, plus tons of Christmas gift door prizes.

Let’s end this year with a bang and make this our most attended event yet! We hope to see you there.
