Atlanta Chapter Event: Gotta Get That Green

September 27, 2016 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Three Dollar Cafe

8595 Roswell Road, Atlanta,

Everyone knows about the push towards green energy and the controversy surrounding climate change. What many people don’t realize is just how in beg government is with the green energy industry. Solyndra is just the tip of the iceberg. Subsidies, tax breaks, and even less subtle forms of motivation abound, and our esteemed friend and speaker Dave Rittenhouse has a front row seat to it all.

Dave Rittenhouse is a chemist, and has spoken to us before about the science of climate change. This month, he’s speaking about the business of green energy and the government’s involvement in it. As Manager of New Business & Product Development at Glatfelter, Dave sees just how much the government touches anything involved with green energy and recycling.

As always, this event is free to attend, but we do ask for an optional donation of $10 if you feel so inclined.

RSVP at our Eventbrite or Facebook event pages.

Please note that there are two Three Dollar Cafes on Roswell Road, and the one we’ll be meeting at is outside the Perimeter. So join us this month at our OTP home at the Three Dollar Cafe about how the government Gotta Get That Green!
