Christopher Chase Rachels is a rising star in the Libertarian community and has gained notoriety as a respected scholar. In June 2015, he released his first book A Spontaneous Order: The Capitalist Case for a Stateless Society.

On Saturday January 21st, Rachels will be giving a talk about how the functions of law and order would be implemented in a capitalist society that doesn’t have a state function. In the talk, Rachels will discuss the prospect of private court systems and private security. He will then argue why the privatization of these functions would be more efficient and effective than the socialist model we have today. There will be time for questions.

As always, AF will provide appetizers and a complimentary beer, wine, cider, or soft drink, and we asked for an optional $10 donation to help cover costs. Please be sure to RSVP at our Eventbrite or Facebook page, and we look forward to seeing you there!
