Have copyright protections gotten out of control, stifling innovation? Or is copyright a sacred property right enshrined in the Constitution? As Congress considers new ideas on copyright, our panelists will debate the Constitutional and philosophical underpinnings of intellectual property and copyright, and explore whether today’s copyright laws are excessive, or in keeping with the Founding Fathers’ vision.
Find out at the debate between Phil Kerpen, American Commitment, and Derek Satya Khanna, Tech Policy Consultant and Yale Law School Fellow. The moderator will be Ryan Lynch, journalist from Policy and Regulatory Report.
Lunch will be provided.
