Today, tens of millions of millennials in the United States are struggling to achieve the same level of success as previous generations.  The reason: a series of policies pursued by the federal government that systematically disfavors the younger generation.

On Tuesday August 4th, join America’s Future – Chicago for an opportunity to hear from Jared Meyer of the Manhattan Institute, who has tackled this issue head-on in his new book Disinherited: How Washington is Betraying America’s Young.

In his talk, Meyer will tell personal stories of many young Americans whose attempts at success have been undermined by government policies that discourage innovation, hamper economic growth, and transfer wealth from one generation to another.

Admission is $10, free for members of AF-Chicago.  We’ll have an open bar, complimentary hor d’oeuvres, and a great conversation.
