Grand Rapids Chapter Event: Corporate Welfare – What’s a State To Do?

February 27, 2017 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Grand Valley State University's Eberhard Center, Room 215A

301 West Fulton Street, Grand Rapids, MI

What: Michigan will collect more taxes this year, but not as much as predicted a few months ago, leaving members of the Legislature looking at a sizable gap between what they want to spend and the money available to pay for it. The most constructive and efficient way to balance the budget is to eliminate the state’s corporate welfare programs and supporting bureaucracy. Our state needs good fiscal policy.

Come hear James Hohman discuss the importance of open and fair competition on how we can make Michigan more free.
Guest Speaker
James M. Hohman
