Is San Francisco a ‘Soft Target’ for Terrorism?

August 10, 2016 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Maritime Wine Tasting Studio

222 Columbus Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94133

We love living in our little bubble by the Bay, this shining sanctuary city on the hill, but how safe are we in San Francisco from the kind of soft-target attacks that are increasingly being carried out by terrorists?

Is the United States doing enough in the battle against zealots determined to kill Americans?

Starting at 6pm on Wednesday, August 10, bestselling author, senior fellow at National Review Institute and a contributing editor for National Review Online, Andrew C. McCarthy will discuss this topic and more at Maritime Wine Tasting Studio.

Andy is a former Chief Assistant United States Attorney in New York, best known for leading terrorism prosecution – including the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

His latest book, Willful Blindness – A Memoir of the Jihad, is available now.

This event is made possible through a collaboration between the San Francisco Chapter of America’s Future, the National Review Institute, and the Pacific Research Institute’s Young Leaders Circle .
