Is Single-Payer Health Care Inevitable?

American health care is in a crisis.

ObamaCare is unpopular. So is the Republican-sponsored American Health Care Act. Premiums are spiking, and a large number of counties throughout the country are left with only one insurer on the ObamaCare exchanges. Too many people can’t afford their deductibles. Too many people can’t afford the cost of their medical bills.

Does all of that mean single-payer health care, or Medicare for All, is inevitable? Or are there other ways of reforming the American health care system to make sure that health care is more affordable and more available to more people?
