Writers Alumni Association

Winter 2016 Writing Fellows Program

Did AF provide you with a unique opportunity to become published, edit articles, learn from skilled authors, and influence people through written language?

AF invites you to join an invitation-only Writers Alumni Association for Doublethink authors, Writing Fellows Program graduates, and speakers to “pay it forward” to young aspiring writers intent on changing the world. To thank alumni and celebrate their accomplishments, AF will host a Writers Award Dinner in November where 1 former Writing Alumnus will be recognized for his/her writing achievements. Former fellows and Doublethink authors will connect and network.

All Alumni are eligible for the award, and sponsors receive free tickets to the dinner based on their giving level. The recipient of the award will be determined by a vote of the host committee. The dinner is invitation-only to fellows, Doublethink authors, sponsors and speakers of the Writing Fellows Program.

Levels of Support:

Writing Fellow Alumnus receives an invitation to the Writers Award Dinner for $35.

Sponsor a Class: A gift of $50 a year will support one class hosting 9 writing fellows. He or she will receive 1 ticket to the Writers Award Dinner.

Sponsor a Writer: A gift of $150 a year will sponsor a Writer for the entirety of the session. He or she will receive 2 tickets to the Writers Award Dinner.

Sponsor a Session: A gift of $500 or more a year will sponsor an entire session for 9 writing fellows. He or she will receive 3 tickets to the Writers Award Dinner and VIP seating at the dinner.

Chair sponsorship is open to anyone or any organization interested in supporting current writers in AF’s programs. This generous donation of $1000 or more a year receives an honorary title of AF Writing Alumnus. They receive 3 tickets to the Writers Award Dinner and VIP seating at the dinner.

Membership:

Membership to the AF Writers Alumni Association is considered separate from AF’s regular membership and is dedicated to supporting the Writing Fellows Program.
