AFF Pittsburgh will host former London Financial Times journalist David Satter. David spent the late 70’s and early 80’s in the Soviet Union where he witnessed firsthand the terrible consequences of complete government control. From the Ukraine famine, to the eradication of religion, to the torturing of dissenters, Satter’s film is a moving depiction of Communism’s devastating effects on the human spirit and a warning to our country as the federal government continues to expand. Age of Delirium is a chilling reminder to each us as we witness the gradual increase of government control throughout the United States.
Dr. Kiron Skinner, an expert on international relations, and Dr. Paul Kengor, an expert on Reagan and Cold War, will add to the discussion.
