AF-Columbus: Education Reform in Ohio

February 16, 2021 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Key Bank Building, 11th Floor Conference Room

88 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215

AF-Columbus will hold a limited in-person discussion on the future of K-12 Education policy and what policy reforms the future may hold for Ohio students with newly elected Representative Thomas Hall (53). The event will also be available for virtual attendees through Zoom.

It’s been nearly a year since all Ohio students and families became homeschoolers and students completed their schooling virtually. Will the impacts of COVID-19 influence education reforms going forward? What education policy solutions should Ohio look to as reforms are slated for the next biennial budget? How will education reform shape Ohio’s K-12 students in the future?

Join AF-Columbus as we discuss education reform and hear from freshman Representative Thomas Hall about his policy thoughts and what it’s like to be in his first term in the Ohio General Assembly. Limited seating available for in-person attendance, with virtual attendance also available. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks available from 6pm to 6:15pm, with programming beginning at 6:20pm. Also, all registered virtual attendees will be sent a food delivery coupon code with the event Zoom link! Our discussion will take place in the 11th floor conference room in the Key Bank building downtown, 88 East Broad Street(enter from Third St. and take the elevators to the 11th floor, the conference room in on the right).
