About Lori Ward:

Lori Ward is an Addison City Council Member and advocate for all things Addison. Now serving her 3rd term, Lori is the town liaison to the World Affairs Council, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that promotes international awareness.

In October 2021 Lori was elected as the President of the Texas Association of Mayors, Councilmembers and Commissioners (TAMCC), a TML affiliate whose primary function is to train newly elected local officials in the state of Texas. At that time Lori also began a two-year term as a Board Director for TML, an organization that advances and sustains the interests of the cities of Texas.

Lori remains steadfast in her commitment to ensuring Addison’s legacy of transparency and good governance. She believes education, civil discourse and respectful communications can serve as accelerators to achieving success in local politics.

In her professional life, Lori is a National Fuel Consultant serving Mission Critical ecosystems with emergency fuel services. Lori enjoys reading, movies, spending time with friends and taking daily walks in Addison Circle with her Pomapoo, Rally.
