AF-Detroit: Should Detroiters get the COVID-19 Vaccine? (Virtual)

January 26, 2021 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

, ,

Sixty-one percent of Detroit residents say they are unlikely to take a government-approved COVID-19 vaccine when it becomes available, according to a recent survey from the University of Michigan’s Detroit Area Neighborhood Study.

Black residents are six times as likely as white residents to say they won’t get the COVID-19 vaccine, and women are nearly twice as likely as men to say they won’t get the vaccine, although higher levels of income and education increase the chances a resident will get the vaccine when available

Join AF-Detroit on Tuesday, January 26th for a virtual balanced discussion about the COVID-19 vaccine, whether Detroiters should get the vaccine, and the reliability of the testing and results. We are excited to host speakers representing both sides of the issue.

This event will take place on Zoom. Please register below to receive the access link.
