AF Atlanta: My Journey to Freedom

November 8, 2017 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Whitehall Tavern

2391 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA

Lily Tang Williams was born and raised in Maoist China where she was indoctrinated with communist propaganda. Now, she’s an ardent advocate for liberty and recently ran as a Libertarian for Senator in Colorado. AF Atlanta is proud to partner with the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation to host Lily as she tells the story of her Journey to Freedom.

Lily is a grassroots activist and professional speaker. She has been outspoken promoting civil liberties, economic freedom, less intrusive government, and other policies that maximize personal freedom. She is an inspirational speaker to many people. Lily has been married to John Williams for 26 years. They have lived in Parker, Colorado for 17 years, with their children and German Shepherd Ajiao (which means ‘cute and proud’ in Mandarin). In addition to political activities, Lily takes care of family and business. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, music, soccer, poker and ping pong.

Join us at Whitehall Tavern for this special Wednesday night edition of AF Atlanta! As always, this is a free event to attend, and all attendees will receive two drink tickets good for any beer, wine, or soft drink. Light appetizers will be provided. This promises to be a powerful event, so go ahead and RSVP!

See you there!
