AF-Columbus: Navigating Challenging Situations in the Workplace

September 23, 2020 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

The Studio at The Kitchen

237 East Livingston Avenue , Columbus,

Whether it’s ethical misconduct, financial misconduct, or sexual misconduct, what do you do when you find yourself in the middle – or worse – the victim of inappropriate or illegal behavior in the workplace? Join AF-Columbus and NeW Columbus for a discussion on tips for navigating tough situations.

We will be joined by Aaron Baer, President of Citizens for Community Values (CCV) to discuss ethics in the workplace. CCV has been a leader locally, throughout Ohio, and nationally advocating for families, and equipping grassroots activists to make a difference in their community since 1983. Aaron has a background working in startup technology and for one of the nation’s premier family policy councils, Center for Arizona Policy (CAP). Following his tenure at CAP, Aaron served as policy advisor in the Executive Office of Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich. Among other outlets, Aaron has appeared on CNN and NBC Nightly News, and his writings have been published in the Cincinnati Enquirer, USA Today, and the Arizona Republic.

The evening will begin at 5:30 PM with light appetizers and socially distanced social networking followed by Aaron’s presentation beginning at 6PM. Masks will be required in the event space while networking.
