AF-NOLA Movie Screening: Just Mercy (Virtual)

Based on the book of the same name, the film is about Bryan Stevenson, the executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama. Bryan has won relief for dozens of condemned prisoners, argued five times before the Supreme Court, and won national acclaim for his work challenging bias against the poor and people of color. The film stars Michael B Jordan, Jamie Foxx, and Brie Larson.

We will be screening the film together using the Kast app so we can all watch at the same time.
