Join AFF Midland as we tour the Alden B. Dow Home and Studio, a national historic landmark. After the tour we will visit Midland Brewing Company for dinner and drinks. This is a great opportunity for those new to Midland to get a glimpse into our city’s history of mid-century modern architecture.

Our private tour starts at 5:30 p.m. at the studio. Parking and entrance is on Post Street, just off of Main.

The tour will finish around 7:30 p.m., when we will go to Midland Brewing Company to finish the evening with food, drinks and great conversation.

America’s Future Foundation will cover the cost of the evening, so register now to reserve your spot.

About the Alden B. Dow Home and Studio

Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1989, the Alden B. Dow Home and Studio continues to engage the imagination and elicits emotional responses in all who experience this powerful statement of Mid-Twentieth Century Modern architecture. Planted into an encompassing pond, the Home and Studio is alive with reflective light, soaring roof lines, diverging angles, brilliant color and the perfect balance of enticement and tranquility. It truly is an “oasis of architecture and inspiration.”

The Home and Studio is 20,000 square feet and has many level changes and is not required to follow ADA guidelines. It is not wheelchair accessible.
