Free to be Fat

This AF event will explore the relationship between personal responsibility and the healthcare sector, with a particular emphasis on one of Mississippi’s greatest healthcare crises: Obesity. More than two thirds of Mississippians are overweight or obese, and we lead the nation in terms of childhood obesity.  Not only does this impact our quality of life, it has significant impacts on the state’s healthcare system, fiscal issues, and government intervention into otherwise personal decisions.
