Have you ever struggled to explain free markets solutions to environmental challenges? We have all faced the misconception that free markets lead to unchecked pollution, deforestation, and waste. When those questions come again, how will you respond?

If you want to learn how to discuss a free market approach to this important issue, then join America’s Future for a workshop on key facts and then practice discussing, in small groups, your arguments.

You will hear from subject matter expert Alex Fitzsimmons, Manager of Policy and Public Affairs at the Institute for Energy Research, and communications expert Daniel Turner, Director of Strategic Communications at Charles Koch Institute.

Space is limited to 30 participants. A reception will follow the group practice.

This event is free for members, and $10.00 for the general public. Any attendee is eligible to submit an application to compete for the $500 prize at the competition on July 15, 2015. To apply, fill out this form by July 1 and attach a 30-45 second video explaining a free market topic important to you. Only attendees to 1 of the 4 events can compete, so don’t miss your chance!
