Can one individual cause a revolution? What difference can you make in your community? Come hear from Kate Bryan, founder of 1 Girl Revolution and host of the 1 Girl Revolution podcast, as she talks about how every person can help change the world for the better.

The “1 Girl Revolution” podcast highlights everyday women who are making a difference. The podcast is built around the theme that “Every woman has a story. Every woman has a voice. Every woman has the power to change the world through her life. Every woman is a 1 Girl Revolution.” Her episodes cover everything from mental health to breast cancer, adoption to human trafficking, and so much more. Kate highlights the stories of everyday women here in Detroit and across the country, who are changing the world through their lives. Everyday women who are making a difference in the world, in both small and large ways.

Join us at 6:00pm to meet and network with other young professionals from across Michigan. The remarks will begin at 6:30pm, with more networking to follow. As always, we’ll have free food and your first drink is on us.

Kate Bryan is the founder of 1 Girl Revolution and host of the 1 Girl Revolution podcast. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts/Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs and Political Communication from the Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland. Kate previously served as a communications director and strategist in Washington, D.C. and prior to that she worked in the Senate and for numerous non-profits in Dublin, Ireland. Kate has appeared on numerous television and radio programs on EWTN, The Blaze, Sun News Network, Ave Maria Radio, Relevant Radio, and more. She regularly speaks on politics and culture, and has written for several publications on the same topics, including TIME, The Washington Post, The Washington Examiner, IJReview, The Daily Caller, Acculturated, The Federalist, Breitbart, and Catholic News Agency.
