The Growing Homelessness Crisis in Sacramento

We will be joined by local civic leader and watchdog Craig Powell, president of Sacramento’s civic watchdog group, Eye on Sacramento, and contributing author to “Inside Sacramento.” Craig will discuss a series he wrote entitled “Rethinking Homelessness,” which takes a careful look at the growing homelessness crisis in Sacramento. Are Sacramento and the city council learning from past failures, or are we on the road to falling into the same traps as so many other urban areas struggling to solve homelessness issues?
