The Moral Argument for Free Trade

May 29, 2018 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Chances are the shirt you’re currently wearing was made in China, the car you’re driving may have been made in Germany, and the avocado you had on your toast this morning was from Mexico. Trade affects everyone. And in our ever-globalizing world, trade is an issue of increasing importance and contention.

Join AF-Grand Rapids and the Acton Institute at this month’s Acton on Tap as we welcome Michael J. Clark, Ph.D., associate professor of economics at Hillsdale College, who will lay out the moral case for free trade. He will analyze common misconceptions about trade deficits and showcase how it often leads to a misunderstanding of the entire economic and moral argument for free trade.

This event is free (and includes one free beer!) but you must register to attend. We hope to see you there!
