The Institute for Justice’s award-winning Communications Team seeks a full-time writer with 4-5 years of experience producing high quality, engaging and substantive copy. Quick, creative and positive thinking required along with the ability to produce prodigious quantities of high-quality work on a sustained basis. Projects will range from tweets to blog posts to long-form articles that will appear in major news outlets. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated passion for individual liberty and limited government as the Institute for Justice is the national law firm for Liberty. IJ was established in 1991 and has won cases in courts across the country, including six at the U.S. Supreme Court.
IJ’s Writer will be creative, flexible, well-organized, enthusiastic, excel at producing a high quantity of compelling written copy that will be posted and printed across a variety of platforms. Individual should possess a strong work ethic and passion for individual liberty, and be comfortable interacting with others. The ability to work in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment is critical.
