Presents for Patriots

Presents for Patriots is back!

Throughout the month of December, AF will be accepting donations for Staff Sergeant Brandon and his family.

Marine SSgt Brandon has served in the USMC for more than 11 years which include a several deployments. He was injured in Afghanistan on August 9, 2014 while on a combat foot patrol in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan when an IED detonated resulting in the loss of both legs, fracturing his pelvis; he also suffered a broken tailbone and broken right hand. This was his last patrol before returning home at the end of August. He has been recovering at Walter Reed Medical Center for the last few months as an inpatient where his wife, a former Marine herself, and their 22 months old son, Indiana, spend their days. Indiana will be spending his second birthday next to his dad in a hospital room instead of Disneyland as they had planned. Things are extremely difficult for them as both their families live on the West Coast. “It would be greatly appreciated by our family to receive these gifts.”

Donate below or bring one of the listed items to any DC AF event in December.

Indiana’s wish list: airplanes, buses, trucks and cars, Mickey Mouse clubhouse, any books with the above items

Help AF give something back to this serviceman and his family in return for his sacrifice for our safety and freedom!
