2. New Program: “Let’s Talk” is a unique way to hone your communications skills on hot issues.  Learn from policy and communication experts and break into groups to practice.  Enter a tournament with professional judges to win a $500 prize.

3. New Opportunity: AF Writing Fellows will hone your writing skills and help you get published.  Led by accomplished journalist Bill McMorris, you will receive personal coaching and hear guest speakers.  Apply now before the Jan 15 deadline.

5.New Program: AF Ambassadors are hand-selected and given ownership of projects to fill gaps for AF.  Ambassadors are working to improve their public speaking, plan panels, write for the blog, and assist with development research and writing.

6. New chapters are slated to open in Indianapolis, Houston, San Francisco, and Lansing while we are working in several other cities for 2015 launches.  If you know people there, or you want to start a chapter in your city, please contact Kathryn Shelton.

7. Save the Date:  AFF’s 20th Anniversary Conference and Gala on May 27, 2015 in Washington, D.C. will allow you to network with AF alumni from across the country during a daytime conference followed by the annual AF Gala.
