All things must pass
It seems that “Rent” is wrapping up its Broadway run after 12 years. How do you measure that? Probably in grams.
Hoping for some closure, I turned to those who knew it well:
“‘Rent’ speaks to people’s hearts,” [a member of the original cast] said. “There is a universal truth that I think everyone can identity with: Living today to the fullest because you don’t know if tomorrow will be promised to you. Live. Love. Laugh. We have all gone through loss. Not necessarily AIDS-related, but everyone loses someone at some point.”
Words of wisdom.
