Chapter Leaders Gather in Dallas
This past weekend, America’s Future Foundation chapter leaders and staff gathered in Dallas, Texas for AF’s annual Leadership Conference. Leaders and staff discussed a strategic vision for AF’s future and participated in a roundtable on improving and enhancing AF’s presence nationwide.
Attendees heard from speakers Bob Ewing, the Director of Media Relations for the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, and Roger Custer, Executive Director of AF, about engaging Millennials in making the moral case for freedom. Participatory discussion followed both speakers.
The weekend-long retreat allowed chapter leaders and staff the time to learn from one another and network, while providing impactful training on outreach and cultivating new relationships. Josh Connelly, board member of AF Houston, noted:
The training I received at the 2016 Leadership Conference will directly impact my ability to lead the chapter in Houston and advocate liberty nationwide.
