America’s Future Welcomes Two New Team Members
America’s Future (AF) is excited to welcome two new members to our growing team: Leah Nalepa, Chief Talent Officer, and Eric Waligora, Community Engagement Manager.
Both Leah and Eric bring unique experiences, perspectives, and a passion for building strong communities that will help AF continue developing leaders, connecting young professionals, and strengthening the broader liberty movement.
Meet Leah Nalepa, Chief Talent Officer
As Chief Talent Officer, Leah leads talent strategy for America’s Future’s programs, building the systems that help AF identify, develop, and connect talented leaders throughout the liberty movement.
A Michigan native, Leah graduated from Hillsdale College in 2015 before spending nearly a decade in Washington, D.C. She recently returned home to Michigan with her husband, three children, and mini dachshund, Captain Jack Sparrow.
Outside of work, Leah enjoys traveling, taking on just about any HIIT workout class, and discovering new local places with family and friends.
Meet Eric Waligora, Community Engagement Manager
As Community Engagement Manager, Eric supports AF’s digital marketing efforts, coordinates events and fellowship programs, and manages office and coworking operations at AF’s Washington, D.C. headquarters.
Having grown up in China, South Korea, and Virginia, Eric developed an early appreciation for the ways people, cultures, and ideas intersect. He later attended the University of Richmond — Go Spiders! — where he studied International Relations, Leadership, and Mandarin.
Eric brings that global perspective to his work at AF, along with a passion for building meaningful communities through events, storytelling, and shared experiences.
