Biden For VP. Woot.

By: Sonny Bunch

If you’ve noticed, I haven’t commented on the pick of Joe Biden as Obama’s VP. You know why I haven’t commented? Because I don’t give a flip, and neither should you. With the exception of LBJ in Texas in ’60,* name me one time–one time!–that a VP selection has legitimately swayed a state one way or the other in the last 50 years. It doesn’t happen. People don’t vote for a candidate because of who their VP is. Biden’s selection means absolutely NOTHING in the grand scheme of this election.

Seriously: the only way this changes anything is if McCain picks Sarah Palin and Biden goes full retard on her in the VP debate. Then people say “What a dick” and he loses like, six votes. Maybe those six votes will be in a swing state!

*And remember, LBJ only garnered JFK that advantage through voter fraud.
