Weekend mornings at Eastern Market and/or Union Market
Shops and waterfront on King Street in Old Town Alexandria
Monument tour at night
Dumbarton Oaks (See where the United Nations was conceived!)
Hike Rock Creek Park
Volunteer bottling parties at Cotton & Reed rum distillery (and others around town)
Visit wineries in Northern Virginia
Rent a kayak, canoe, or paddle board at Thompson’s Boat Center and drift down the Potomac
Take a day trip to Harpers Ferry (go tubing if you’re brave!)
