AF-DC: Populism On The Right—Is It Ideological?
October 26, 2026 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
AF Clubhouse
1367 Connecticut Avenue Northwest, Suite 200 , Washington, D.C. 20036
Join America’s Future for a timely conversation exploring the rise of populism and what it means for the future of classical liberal ideas.
Populism continues to shape political conversations on the right, but what exactly is driving it? Is today’s populism rooted in a coherent ideology, a reaction to political and cultural change, the influence of individual personalities, or something else entirely?
AF’s Ed Tarnowski will sit down with Paul Teller, a veteran conservative strategist with more than three decades of experience spanning Capitol Hill, the White House, and national advocacy organizations. Drawing on Teller’s firsthand political experience and academic expertise, they’ll examine the forces behind the populist movement, its relationship with the broader right, and what it could mean for individual liberty, limited government, and the future of American politics.
Preceding the talk will be a catered food and beverage reception.
