AF-Milwaukee Virtual Happy Hour/Trivia: School Choice Edition

While we won’t be gathering in person, AF-Milwaukee is still celebrating School Choice Week!

School choice programs in Wisconsin have consistently produced better outcomes and lower costs to taxpayers. Home to the nation’s first modern private school choice program (Milwaukee in 1990), lawmakers expanded School Choice to the entire state in 2013. Now, over 40,000 Wisconsin students are enrolled in one of the state’s four choice programs, and they’re receiving better outcomes than their public school counterparts. Research shows that students participating in a choice program are performing better academically than their public school peers, are more likely to graduate high school, and less likely to participate in crime.
