Atlanta Chapter Event: Marijuana Legalization? A 4/20 Joint

April 20, 2017 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Whitehall Tavern

2391 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA

Weed. Grass. Dope. Ganja. Mary Jane. Whatever you call it, marijuana is making inroads all over the country. Whether it’s one of the seven states with full legalization including recreational use, or where legalization is limited to medical use, marijuana is legal in some way or another in a majority of states.

With the recent expansion of the Haleigh’s Hope law here in Georgia and the Atlanta City Council actually holding hearings to discuss decriminalization within city limits, weed is back in the conversation, and we want to be a part of it. So AF Atlanta is happy to hold its very first 4/20 event featuring small government advocate Carla Howell.

Ms. Howell is probably best known for her Massachusetts gubernatorial campaign based on lower taxes, but she’s an ardent advocate for the reduction of government in all spaces, including the Drug War.

So come on out to our usual haunt at Whitehall Tavern for a special 4/20 edition of AF Atlanta! As usual, drink tickets and appetizers will be provided. And, as always, this is a free event to attend. All we ask is that you consider making a completely optional $10 donation so that we can keep putting on these events for you.
