NC Ed Innovation Summit

March 2, 2019 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Talley Student Union

2610 Cates Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27606

Our education system continues to face fundamental challenges both nationally and in North Carolina. Join us at AF-Raleigh’s NC Ed Innovation Summit as we explore how entrepreneurs are addressing our greatest challenges in education.

We are pleased to feature a dynamic panel consisting of Hunter Moore (CEO, Plasma Games), Charlie Lyons (President, DRIVE), and Dr. Tim Hall (Director of Operations and Academics Pre-K-12, Thales Academy). This panel will delve into entrepreneurship in education and its essential role in a free-market economy.

Following the panel, guests will have an opportunity to visit booths of companies and organizations who are making an innovative impact in NC education. In some cases, guests will even have an opportunity try out some of the ed tech products. Vendors will be announced over the next couple of weeks on the Facebook page for the event. We encourage attendees to actively participate, make connections, and to give feedback to vendors.

Teachers, principals, and superintendents from across the state, as well as members the education departments at local universities, key legislators, the homeschool network, and more will be joining us. This event is an excellent opportunity to learn more about entrepreneurship and the education industry, to connect with other industry professionals, and to connect with members of the community.
