Summer Picnic Series: April

April 23, 2021 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

John Carlyle Park

300 John Carlyle Street, Alexandria, VA

It’s springtime and that means it’s once again picnic season! It’s the best way to get outside, fight off those winter scaries, and still meet new friends even amidst a global pandemic. Join us for the first of our new FREE, Summer Picnic series.

Grab your own dinner, some snacks or dessert, maybe an adult beverage, and something to sit or lay on and picnic with us. (We will aim to be socially distanced between household groups.)

Feel free to bring anything else that would make the picnic more fun! Some friends? A Kite? A guitar? A frisbee or football? A leashed and friendly dog? A cool policy topic to dissect? By all means!

We’ll meet at John Carlyle Park in the Carlyle district of Old Town (300 John Carlyle Street, Alexandria). The park does not have access to restrooms, however there are some shops and restaurants nearby. You can also grab dinner to-go from one of these lovely establishments.

This is a new event series, so keep your eye out for more Summer Picnics in the Capital Hub Area each month.
