If Ron Paul Had a Summer Camp

This weekend I will be at the New Hampshire Free State Project’s Porcupine Freedom Festival (‘PorcFest’ – though I wouldn’t mind if it was ‘PorkFest’).

The five-day event is sort of a hippie, libertarian campout version of the annual Republican CPAC. This year it will host speakers, tutorials, and reports on the Free State Project’s progress – as well as salsa classes, jewelry parties, and bonfires. It is a summer camp for the über libertarians, if you will. Though the focus of the event is just as directed towards fostering a sense of community and appreciation for New Hampshire as it is for discussing liberty-oriented activism in the US.

I am very much looking forward to combining my love of s’mores and distain for zoning laws.
