Learn It:
Create and Cultivate has launched a series of curated bundles of helpful materials. From the “Grow Your Instagram Following” bundle to the “Job Hunting” bundle each set is under $30 and offers a ton of helpful workshops and information to fill up your socially-distant evenings.

If you suddenly find yourself in Zoom meetings for hours on end, take a look at some of these useful tips for making those meetings go smoothly.

Live it:
The New York Times opinion page has dedicated itself to debating and exploring the ways America can improve itself through this time of crisis, in their words, “…how American society can eventually emerge from this crucible stronger, fairer and more free.” I think it’s a worthwhile exploration, what would be your recommendation?

If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of getting sick with Covid-19, unless you are very sick, it is encouraged that you wait it out at home. While there is no cure for the virus currently, this article offers some helpful insights on how to take care of yourself if you fall ill.

There’s no way around it, this season is a difficult one, from mass unemployment, fears of getting or transmitting the disease, to remaining separated from friends and family. While keeping a positive outlook can be important for moving forward, Katherine Timpf makes the case that acknowledging the discomfort can be a valuable exercise as well.

Love it:
DonorsTrust has been a long-time ally of AF’s  (we publish posts from their VP Peter Lipsett every month!) but I’ve been particularly inspired by their leadership in recent weeks. Take a look at Moving from Crisis to Prosperity is our Responsibility by their president Lawson Bader.

The Institute for Justice has launched websites that help you find businesses that are still open in Washington, DC and Chicago, if you know of a business that should be included, encourage them to sign up, and send these stores some love!
