Learn it, Live it, Love it: The Night After Edition

By: Cindy Cerquitella

What a night! We’re fresh off the heels of AF’s Annual Gala and Buckley Awards and riding that high into some quarterly planning before the long weekend, so this week’s installment is a  short one. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make that celebration possible!

Learn It:

On the morning commute, my husband and I have begun listening to Robinhood’s Snacks podcast — all about daily financial news. It’s a lot of fun, and gives you a picture of what’s happening in the country, and how government actions can have major effects on the economy and individual businesses. Listen for the “invisible hand” reference in the May 15th episode — you gotta love that!

Live it:

It’s Memorial Day weekend, and I’m going sailing and you should plan to spend some time on the water wherever you are as well!

Let’s also be sure to take some time to remember the men and women who fought to secure our liberties and to protect them.

Next week, we’ll be in Scottsdale, AZ for the Heritage Resource Bank Meeting. If you’ll be there as well, please say hello!

Love it:

I’m loving the Human Rights Foundation’s new branding and website. Their work to empower activists that stand up against tyranny across the globe is so compelling and important. One of my favorite of their initiatives is Flashdrives for Freedom (check out the video below.) If you haven’t heard about them yet, take some time to get acquainted. Dictators — you’re on watch.
