Nominations for the 2021 Buckley Awards are now open!

Do you know a young leader who is making strides to advance freedom and prosperity in their community or across the country? Help us to celebrate the courage, service, and dedication of these liberty-minded young professionals by nominating a leader that inspires you. Nominations are open now through midnight ET on September 3, 2021.

Here are the details. Nominees:

– Must be between the ages of 22-40, and must identify as liberty-minded
– Must be able to accept the award in Washington, DC, at the award ceremony
– Must be nominated by someone other than the nominee
– Made a significant contribution to the conservative movement at large by either:

-Leading or organizing a significant grassroots or media initiative at the local or national level
-Significantly contributing to the advancement or understanding of the ideas of a free society
-Meaningfully impacting news coverage of a high profile issue in the last 12 months (October 2020 – present)
-Displaying courage and grace under fire

The awards will be presented at the 2021 AF Annual Gala in Washington, DC.

Given in honor of William F. Buckley, Jr., The Buckley Awards recognize outstanding young professional conservatives and libertarians for their above-and-beyond service to advance freedom in their cities, states, and across the country. Previous winners include leaders such as: Jessica Anderson of Heritage Action, Austin Berg of the Illinois Policy Institute, Adam Josefczyk of the Forge Leadership Network, Peter Redpath of the Federalist Society, Katie Pavlich of Townhall, Carrie Sheffield of BOLD, and many more.
