What Does It Mean To Be An Entrepreneur?

August 28, 2017 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

New Holland Brewing The Knickerbocker

417 Bridge St. NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49504

What virtues do entrepreneurs have and what behaviors do they exhibit? What is the specific role of entrepreneurs in the economy? What do entrepreneurs do? How can I be an entrepreneur?

Brett VanderKamp has spearheaded New Holland’s growth and innovation since its inception in 1996. He currently serves the Michigan Brewers Guild as head chair of the Government Affairs Committee. Brett was recognized as one of Grand Rapids Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” in 2011 – heralding his dedication to innovation and community. Brett’s entrepreneurial spirit and artistic sensibilities are at the very heart of New Holland.

Come hear from Brett as we explore the concept of entrepreneurship, the key traits of an entrepreneur and discuss the entrepreneur’s role in society. Plus: network with other young professionals.

Food and your first drink will be provided. Bring 2 or more friends and receive a $15 gift card to the Knickerbocker! All attendees will also be entered for a free copy of the Foundation for Economic Education’s Economics in One Lesson.
