AF-DC at the American Red Cross

October 25, 2023 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

American Red Cross Blood Donation Center

1730 E Street NW, Washinton, DC 20006

Join AF-DC for an in-person CPR/First Aid/AED training at the American Red Cross HQ. Whether you need to renew your certification or want to get one for the first time, you are welcome to join us!

In addition to (or in lieu of the training), please consider donating blood. We are currently experiencing a nationwide blood shortage.

About the CPR/First Aid/AED training:

The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults children and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements. Upon successful completion, you will receive a digital certification good for two (2) years!

You must register separately for the training through the American Red Cross. Register for the Adult Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Class here.

If you cannot make it to the class, you can still help with the national blood shortage! Make an appointment to donate blood here.

Please register/make an appointment and come back here to RSVP! We will get a group photo between 5:15 and 5:30 after the completion of the class.

Everyone who completes the training and/or donates blood will receive an invite to an exclusive party in November, so definitely make sure we know you attended!

This is for young professionals 21-40. Closest Metro stop is Farragut West. Questions? Email addison@americasfuture.org.
