AF-Milwaukee: Taxes and Social Mobility

April 29, 2024 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

The Explorium Brewpub Third Ward

143 West Saint Paul Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53203

Join AF-Milwaukee for an educational evening focused on the impact tax reform could have on Wisconsinites.

We’ll be joined by Amanda Griffiths, who will speak to us about the tax code and how reform could positively impact social mobility in the state.

Drinks and light appetizers will be provided. Don’t miss the chance to network with your fellow changemakers!

About the Speaker

Amanda is a PhD student concentrating on political theory and international relations, with an emphasis on Machiavelli’s political thought. She received her M.A. from the University of Chicago and previously worked as the editorial director at the Cato Institute’s Center for Monetary and Financial Alternatives. With a background in the entertainment industry, academia, and the think tank circuit, she enjoys diving into questions and perspectives across disciplines and ideologies. Amanda’s reporting focuses on foreign policy, the future of liberalism, mass opinion, and the relationship between the individual, the market, and the state (with a special interest in decentralized finance).
