Kristine Goffos Joins AF as Marketing Associate

By: AF Editors

AF is pleased to welcome Kristine Goffos to the full-time team as the marketing associate.

Kristine earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. She has diverse professional experience in marketing, having served as deputy press secretary for U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley and as the digital strategy associate for The Heritage Foundation.  There, she oversaw the introduction and expansion of Heritage’s Facebook Live video efforts and helped develop a new analytics system for tracking audience engagement across platforms.

“We are thrilled to add Kristine to our team at AF.  As we expand to 30 cities and beyond this year, her work on social media will be crucial to inspire Millennials to embrace free markets, limited government, and personal responsibility,” said AF executive director Roger Custer.

Kristine will coordinate all AF marketing with a focus on social media including Facebook, twitter, the website and blog.  She will expand on Facebook Live experiments at AF’s Facebook page and manage search engine optimization, among other projects.

A native Iowan, Kristine is an avid Cyclones fan and enjoys a good cup of coffee (or two, or three). She and her husband reside in Washington, D.C., with their cats, Starbuck and Apollo.

She writes, “I’m thrilled to be joining the hardworking and innovative team here at AF. The work AF does to bring the values of liberty, personal responsibility, and freedom to the Millennial generation is imperative to the future of our country. I’m excited to help communicate these values through my digital marketing role and advance liberty across the nation.”
