Learn it, Live it, Love it: The First Edition
Every other week I’ll be sharing a few things that have inspired me or made me think. Enjoy installment one, and let me know what you’re learning, living, or loving over on Facebook!
Learn It:
Back in 2010, I decided to start a podcast for my organization. I developed a schedule, interviewed guests, and taught myself Audacity. It was a ton of fun, and a grand total of six people listened! Live It:
I can’t say it better then AF-Raleigh Chapter Leader Hannah Niles, “We’re a group that values personal responsibility and community, and now is a critical time to put those values to action.” Volunteer to help those in North Carolina rebuilding their lives in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence this Sunday. For those of us not close by, here’s a list of charities that will likely do the job better than FEMA.
DC Recommendation: Whether you’re taking a leap by starting a business of your own, or just love being around people looking to make other people happy through commerce, DC Startup Week has an amazing lineup of classes, mentorship options, and networking events for the budding entrepreneur.

Three cheers for my heroes over at the Institute for Justice who got the city of Philadelphia to agree to no longer steal people’s homes, and repay damages to the tune of $3 million dollars. What a wonderful outcome for the people of that city. On to the next!
And, the soundtrack to your weekend.
