Introducing the Laissez Fair–Coming This Fall

By: AF Editors

The millennial generation is innovative, effective, and ambitious. When we see an opportunity to make something better, more beautiful, or to launch new side hustles, we go for it. When we have a chance to showcase our passions and talents, we put ourselves out there.

So many things we enjoy daily–podcasts, music, books, brews, and food–wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for this creative ingenuity. And none of it would be possible if not for our ability to create and live freely.

Let’s celebrate this creative freedom and the people who bring these ideas to life. We’re excited to announce a new event from America’s Future Foundation coming this fall–Saturday, October 19–celebrating local artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, and more: Laissez Fair!

This open-air lawn seating event will feature an afternoon of live performances and talks, headlined by a live podcast recording of Kibbe on Liberty. Plus enjoy added perks like: instructor-led yoga classes, a pop-up marketplace of local artists and entrepreneurs, musicians, stand-up comedians, local food and drinks for purchase, lawn games and more. Do you know or admire an entrepreneur or creative talent who should be featured? Nominate them here before the September 7 deadline.

Purchase your tickets by noon ET on Friday, August 16, and use the promo code “SAVEmySEAT” for $5 off your Laissez Fair admission tickets.

Pop in and out or pack your picnic and blankets to stay for the full afternoon. It’s a family-friendly celebration, so invite your whole crew and join us on the lawn at the beautiful Lee Fendall House in Alexandria, VA, for an exciting and inspirational afternoon. Live and let live!

Admission to Laissez Fair is $15, and drink tickets are $6 for alcoholic or $2 for non-alcoholic beverages. (You may bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages.)

It’s a marketplace, meets TED, meets Coachella. And you won’t want to miss it.
