Let’s Talk Taxes – Why Local Government Matters

In 2006, Dr. Eric Larson, along with his friend, Jeff Steinport, founded Kent County Families for Fiscal Responsibility in order to fight a tax increase for the Rapid. They continued to oppose the Rapid’s repeated tax increases while serving as a watchdog over its operations. Since then, they expanded the organization to focus on transparency, abusive elections, and tax policy and renamed themselves the Kent County Taxpayers Alliance. They have a number of victories to their credit as well as numerous appearances in the media.

Join your friends at America’s Future Foundation as we welcome Dr. Larson as he shares insights from his work to protect the taxpayers of Kent County. We will focus on ways to keep government transparent, accountable, and efficient.

Doors open at 6:30 pm. Discussion begins at 7:00 pm.
